Changelog
When a law, deadline or standard changes, we update IT-Checklist. This page lists what changed in the questionnaire and on the explanation pages. The newest change is at the top.
The English site on it-checklist.com now has English addresses, such as /about and /emergency-plan. Old links redirect automatically.
New: a blog. The first article explains why you need an emergency plan for a cyber attack, with lessons from the hacks at Ahold Delhaize, M&S, Jaguar Land Rover and a Dutch lab.
New: a printable emergency plan for a cyber attack or data breach. You fill in names and numbers beforehand and see what to do in the first hour, when to report and how to recover.
The site works better with a keyboard and screen reader: a link to skip straight to the content, clear focus, labels on every form field and messages that are read aloud. The IT check now also has an explanation at the top.
New page on the Dutch Mijn Cyberweerbare Zaak 2026 subsidy. It covers who can apply, which eight measures count, how much you get back and how to apply before 30 November 2026.
Every topic now has its own page with all questions, the advice for each measure, first steps, common mistakes and official sources. Also new are the 'About IT-Checklist' page and this changelog. We updated the NIS2 page because the Cybersecurity Act is now in force.
Fact check of the questionnaire. We went through the AI Act (the Digital Omnibus postponed the high-risk requirements to 2 December 2027), the reporting route under the Cybersecurity Act and the GDPR deadline for reporting breaches. New questions cover helpdesk identity checks, leaked credentials, AI agents, the Cyber Resilience Act and board training.
NIS2 / Cybersecurity Act became its own topic in the questionnaire. We updated the texts on legislation.
The English version is on it-checklist.com. Every page has its own address and a direct link to the Dutch version.
New cookie banner with separate choices for statistics and advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we respect it.
Added questions on ISO 27001. The ISO 27001 page now also explains Amendment 1:2024 (climate change).
New pages on NIS2 and NEN 7510, plus a follow-up article on the 93 controls of ISO 27001:2022. The questionnaire now adapts to sole traders, SMEs or private limited companies.
You can now download your result as PDF or Excel. The first page on ISO 27001 went live too.
IT-Checklist goes live: a free, anonymous questionnaire with the answers yes, no, not applicable and prefer not to say.
